Liberal Democrats crack me up. The Dems have one lunatic senator who happens to be a former klansman of the Ku Klux Klan, Senator Robert Byrd, calling Republicans "evil" and comparing them to Hitler and the Nazis and another Senator, Presidential election L O S E R John Kerry who wants to honor a man who was an anti-American, a member of the Soviet Communist Party, he eulogized the late Soviet leader Stalin as a great and courageous man, and praised the Nazis as a "nation at work after a nightmare of unemployment" and called the fervent anti-semitism in Nazi Germany "reasoned prejudice". This man's name is W. E. B. Du Bois.
Du Bois also referred t0 the crackdown on religion behind the Iron Curtain of Soviet Russia, "A gift of the Russian Revolution to the world."
This is the man that Senator John Kerry wants to honor with a Senate resolution sponsored by himself and co-sponsored by Ted "hic" Kennedy from Taxachussetts and Senator Carl Levin from my home state of Michigan, calling Du Bois a man who taught us that the promise of freedom is honored through action.
This man Du Bois, by the way, also renounced his American citizenship and joined the Communist Party.
All the while, another Democrat Senator is condemning a President and the people who voted for him. A President who has done more to ring the bell of liberty than our previous commander in chief, Bill Clinton.
Senator Byrd, a former klansman himself; a racist, and a bigot, calling Republicans evil and comparing us to Hitler, a man who is admired by Du Bois, whom John Kerry, Ted "hic" Kennedy and Carl Levin, and all Democrats want honored. Figure this one out.
