LACK OF MSM ATTENTION TO SUPREME COURT RULING!

The following article about Military recruiters on college campuses was written and submitted by a very good friend of mine who goes by, The LoneWatchman.

He has proudly served in our military and gave up time from his friends and family to stand guard over the Islamofacists douchebags that are housed at Club Gitmo. I do hope that someday he writes something describing what he saw and heard while performing his duties on the American side of the Island nation of Cuba.

Last week the Supreme Court ruled that colleges had to allow military recruiters on campus or lose federal funding. This ruling didn’t seem to get all that much attention, and what it did get was usually framed as John Roberts leading the right wing of the S.C. into judicial activism. Of course that perception is warped, since not only was it a unanimous opinion, but it also failed to set up an even bigger activist position for the Court to assume. I suspect the reason why there was little coverage of the ruling is simply because it’s very hard to say it was a vast right wing conspiracy when non-conservative judges decided the same thing. What is missing here though, is that no one seems to be giving the conservatives credit for not being activists on this issue. If the conservative judges had ruled in opposition, and had the numbers to make it matter, they would have set the stage to cause raining money over Hillsdale, Liberty U, and Wheaton College.

The original colleges, law schools, that brought this case to the Supreme Court contended that it was a violation of free speech and association to force them to accept military recruiters or lose federal funding. These schools didn’t want recruiters present because they claim to object to the discriminatory “don’t ask, don’t tell” policy of the military (a policy enacted by Bill Clinton, a liberal lawyer). Certainly we could argue about if that reason is true or not, and what else might be behind it, but that is not the issue at the moment. Let’s take a look at this idea of the First Amendment and federal funding from a few different angles.

Hillsdale college is unique because it does not accept federal funding at all, so that it does not have to accept government interference in the way in which it’s leaders operate the school. Let’s say for instance the government started to require that all funded schools must have an affirmative action program, not just an equal opportunity policy, but a program to give preference to some students based on color. This of course would be discriminatory against any student who did not fall into this group, would these law schools still have thought that a college that didn’t support the government mandate be funded? Would the type of discrimination change how the funding question was answered?

Other colleges are “religious” and cannot get much government funding if any at all simply because of their beliefs, which is discrimination. Some people would argue that it’s separation of church and state to not send tax money to religious schools. This is where the constitutional conflict comes in, if not funding a school because of their beliefs is a violation of speech and association, how can that be resolved with religious schools? How can one part of the constitutional be used to deny some schools, while other parts of it ensure, (in law school theory) a college can hold to any belief it wants and not lose funding? How do we decide which rights are trump, and which protections affect which groups at which times? This is the constitutional crisis the conservatives could have caused if they actually were activists, and had the numbers, but they didn’t either way. There could have been a battle that would have resulted in all schools getting funding without having to compromise their beliefs and yet people still would not be happy. It is really not the federal government’s job to be involved with education anyway.

To my mind the government could give out grants, scholarships, and loans, but should not be concerned with which school the student is attending. This time it seems big government has bitten the liberals in the butt, though they may get the last laugh when the Army starts stacking it’s J.A.Gs with anti-American socialists.

Now that Portgate is all but faded from our memory, the Liberal Left will now feel the need to heal the hurt feelings between the United States and the Arab/Islamofacist world, and even though they sided with most Americans on this issue (Big Surprise), I am quite sure that they will blame the President for such a racist act as discriminating against an Arab nation, and the Mainstream media will eat it up with their usual dirty spoon.

The President has already moved on to other matters by referring to Iran and it's Hitleresque President a "Grave National Security Issue".

Just a day ago, the President was trying to shove a deal down our throats saying that the UAE, who by the way crave the destruction of the Jewish State of Israel, were our friends and ally. Now the President does an about face and turns into a half hearted hawk again.

All the while we stand around with our thumbs up our asses waiting for Diplomacy to solve the Nuclear question that Iran is eagerly seeking a decisive answer to, the Shiite Head clerics and the lunatic President of Iran who sees himself as a Messiah of some sorts are building and readying themselves for what is sure to be a War!

President Bush needs to get a clue right now! These whack jobs in Iran, the Mullahs and their Hitler like dictator want to kill Americans and destroy Israel! No ifs, ands, or buts about it! Their goal is as plain as the ugly on Janet Reno's face.

Iran declared war against the United States in 1979 when Jimmy Carter displayed his lack of leadership as our President at the time. We have yet to do anything about that threat of war.

The same way that Saddam used "Diplomacy" as a way to stall and win time to evacuate his WMD into Syria with the help of our friends the Russians, (Friends indeed) the Iranian nut jobs are doing the same thing.

As we sit here in our comfy home in the U.S., our soldiers are dealing with attacks from Iran every day in Iraq. The Improvised Explosive Devices that kill Americans and Iraqis every day in terror attacks are more then likely made in Iran and transported over the border to be used against our soldiers.

Israel is even getting sick of the United States hemming and hawing their way through this and are prepared to take matters into their own hands if neccessary.

In the early afternoon hours of Sunday, June 7, 1981, Israeli pilots took off from an air base in the south of Israel. The mini-armada consisted of eight F-16s, each carrying two 2,000-pound bombs, and six F-15s flying in a protective umbrella.

In less than two minutes' time, these 14 planes of the Israeli Air Force laid waste to the Osiraq nuclear reactor on the outskirts of Baghdad.

The United States reacted much the way the Israeli leadership thought it would. The Reagan Administration voted to condemn Israel in the U.N. and four F-16s scheduled for shipment to Israel were held back a few weeks. Behind the scenes, however, President Reagan assured Israel of his continued support.

One could be led to believe that the same thing could happen very, very soon. And any attack led by Israel would more then likely have the support of the United States. Unless of course a Democrat is in office much like Jimmy Carter was in 1979 when he turned his back on a American friendly leadership that was in place in Iran and instead ALLOWED a hostile anti-American Islamic Fundamentalist regime to take over.

The Soviets don't realize that a nuclear Iran could be as dangerous for them as it is for the US and Israel, even western Europe. Same appeasment bullshit as with Iraq before the war. Russia has had its own problems with Islamofacist loonies in the Chechyn region and don't think for a moment that Iran would not turn and bite the hand that fed it nuclear material to begin with in favor of Islamic Fundamentalist who want to further their dream of a world wide Islamic government.

We need to act now along side our Jewish friends in Israel. If we stand by and let Iran destroy Israel as Jimmy Carter would do, then who is to say that we here in the U.S.A. would not be next.

No nation building, no spreading of Democracy, none of that crap...Let's just get the job done and waste the F--ing F---kers and send them on a one way magic carpet ride to Paradise and the 72 virgins. With threats like, "The west will suffer" and promising "Harm and Pain" to Americans and Israel, how can we sit by with our heads in the sand and think for one minute that this can be solved with diplomacy. Diplomacy works only when both sides are thinking rationally. The Iranian President is obviously not a rational person and neither are the Islamic Clerics and Mullahs who desire the destruction of America and Israel and send their sons and daughters out with bombs strapped to themselves on suicidal missions to kill innocent civilians. Jews, Muslims, Christians alike have died because of these homocidal maniacs.

I desire a peaceful world to live in as much as the next guy. But being the rational and logical thinking person that I am makes me realize that to have peace, one needs to wage war at times.

PORTGATE- COMMON SENSE PREVAILS FOR THE TIME BEING, BUT FOR HOW LONG?

Dubai Ports backed down yesterday on their attempt to control United States ports, vowing to turn over control to a US owned company amid reports that both houses were willing to over turn any veto that President Bush promised on a bill to stop the Arab company from taking over control of major sea ports in the US.

"DP World will transfer fully the U.S. operations ... to a United States entity," H. Edward Bilkey, the company's top executive, said in the surprise announcement that seemed to spread relief throughout the Capitol and the White House. It was unclear which American business might get the port operations.

Just hours earlier, Republican House and Senate leaders privately told the president that Congress was all but certain to block DP World's plan. Under pressure from a disapproving public, a House committee overwhelmingly voted against it Wednesday. The leaders told Bush the Senate would inevitably do the same, despite his threats to veto any legislation killing the deal.

But alas, the United Arab Emirates expressed anger at congress for taking US security interests before monetary or whatever hand holding/ass kissing appeasment deal the President made with the arab nation.

What, that can't be...an Arab nation pissed off at the United States? The UAE will be forced to the back of the line on that one.

Dubai is threatening retaliation against American strategic and commercial interests if Washington blocks its $6.8 billion takeover of operations at several U.S. ports.

A source close to the deal said members of Dubai’s royal family are furious at the hostility both Republicans and Democrats on Capitol Hill have shown toward the deal.

“They’re saying, ‘All we’ve done for you guys, all our purchases, we’ll stop it, we’ll just yank it,’” the source said.

I wonder if the Clintons will still get payed by their foreign friends? The two have them have their hands extremely dirty in this one. Hillary claims to be against the deal, but we all know she has lied before. How can you tell Hillary is lying, you ask? When she opens her mouth!

Are we truly to believe Hillary's insistence last week that she knew nothing about Bill's counseling of his friend and benefactor the crown prince of Dubai, Sheik Mohammed bin Rashid al Maktoum, on the ports deal? SCUM RISES TO THE TOP WITHIN THE RANKS OF THE FEDERAL GOVERNMENT

Current and former screeners with information about Wade urged to come forward

Major General William H. Wade II was nominated for Adjutant General, the top post at the California Army National Guard. Although Wade's confirmation hearing has not yet been scheduled, the California Senate Rules Committee is accepting information from individuals who endorse or oppose his confirmation.

Wade is the former TSA Federal Security Director at Sacramento International Airport, where he endured controversy among screeners there during his tenure. A number of TSA screeners who worked under Wade have information about him that may be of interest to Senate Rules Committee members.
"Anyone has the right to come forward and provide information about him that they think we should consider," Nettie Sabelhaus, Appointments Director for the California State Senate.

That right extends to those screeners who suffered abuse or wrongdoing under Wade's administration, and anecdotal evidence suggests that there are quite a few of them.

Wade's Post-9/11 Assignment

Wade took command of the Army National Guard's airport security function -- dubbed Joint Task Force Aerosafe (JTFAS) -- in October, 2001, following the terrorist attacks of 9/11. He was also Oakland Airport’s General Manager, according to a news report.

Before they were deployed, guard personnel underwent a "comprehensive Federal Aviation Administration training program" and received "federal law enforcement training to include conflict management and resolution, as well as additional weapons handling safety procedures," according to one news article.

The National Guard troops were withdrawn at the end of April, 2002, under a security directive by the newly formed TSA.

"That security directive instructs the airport authorities to have in place with the TSA by the 30th of this month a memorandum of agreement under which the airport will arrange for uniformed police officers -- trained, sworn deputies -- to take the place of the National Guard at the security checkpoints," said Paul Turk, TSA spokesman in Washington.

Wade Hired by TSA

Taking advantage of his new contacts and experience in the airport security business, Wade applied for a position with the TSA and on August 2 2002 was appointed Federal Security Director for Sacramento International Airport by U.S. Secretary of Transportation Norman Y. Mineta.

"These experienced professionals will be on the front lines in the war on terrorism and are integral in furthering the (TSA's) commitment to first-class security and first-class customer service," Secretary Mineta said in a press release.

Soon after the TSA began active service during the "roll-out" at Sacramento airport in September of 2002, TSA employees working under Wade started to learn what sort of leader he was.

Wade Shows His Darker Side

Yelling at employees, failing to direct proper investigations of complaints, retaliating against employees who file EEO complaints, submitting false statements in response to a Congressional inquiry, losing paperwork related to workers comp claims and promotion applications, attempted intimidation of employees and their spouses, inappropriate and offensive comments about African American and gay employees, and more happened under Wade, say screeners who worked at Sacramento.

"That entire meeting was a farce," said one former TSA employee who attended one of the Town Hall meetings. "I heard these remarks and even another which was just as outrageous."

A number of TSA employees filed Equal Employment Opportunity complaints with the TSA's Office of Civil Rights while Wade held his Senior Executive position with the agency, and others submitted complaints to Internal Affairs, to Wade's management and other agencies.

Not all of the complaints directly named then FSD Wade, but Wade was the top management official at the airport and was thus involved in or at least aware of most if not all of the complaints.

Some screeners have said that Wade and his senior managers ran an incompetent administration at Sacramento airport, losing important documents such as promotion applications, resumes, and even forms needed by the Department of Labor for workers compensation claims.

Rock bottom morale has been blamed for the airport's high turnover rate of TSA screeners. "It doesn't surprise me at all that people are leaving there," said one former TSA employee. "I am still hopeful that one day, it will all be brought out in the open."

Wade's administration has also been accused of actively working to get complaints thrown out by providing statements to senior TSA officials designed to discredit the complainants, failing to properly investigate complaints against other employees, and even providing false statements to a Senator in response to a Congressional Inquiry.

Sworn testimony by TSA managers at Sacramento, provided during depositions conducted as part of one EEO case, have corroborated some of the complaints. False statements by Wade, mismanaging an investigation, losing Workers Comp and other documents were all verified by members of former FSD Wade's staff.

The TSA management at Sacramento Airport was characterized as "incompetent" by one union attorney familiar with at least one EEO complaint against the agency. That case was settled by the TSA shortly after local management officials illegally placed the pregnant employee on Leave Without Pay for being placed on a "light duty" status by her physician due to a high risk pregnancy.

Airport and Airline Officials Also Unhappy With Wade

TSA employees weren't the only ones unhappy with Wade. According to a newspaper article published last year, Sacramento Airport head Acree complained about Wade in a letter to Washington, D.C., in January, 2003. The letter complained that federal representatives were "dogmatic, domineering and uninterested in partnership."

The hard feelings were mutual according to documents, said the article.

Bill Wade sent an e-mail to Frances Sherertz, the airport operations director, telling him "Frankly, I'm fed up with the name-calling, the finger-pointing, the lack of cooperation, ad infinitum. Everything with this airport and the carriers is an exercise in futility."

A review of documents and interviews with airport and federal employees, there were a number of disagreements between Wade's office and the airport and airlines.

One such disagreement involved who would be required to carry luggage from the bomb-detection machine in the lobby to the baggage conveyor belt. For some time, TSA Screeners were carrying the bags, being told that it was required. "Later," one screener told Screeners Central, "we found out that Wade had made a deal with the airlines." Apparently the policy had nothing to do with TSA ops and everything to do with Wade trying to please the airlines.

"Wade was not a popular guy," said another TSA employee.

TSA Screeners from the "Wade Era" Urged to Come Forward

I encourage anyone with information of wrongdoing or abuse (including current or former TSA employees) while he was the FSD at Sacramento can and should contact the Senate Rules Committee. Personal statements and supporting documents add substance to claims made, according to Sabelhaus.

Rumors about Homeland Security Secretary Michael Chertoff's resignation started late Friday after he at the last minute canceled his keynote speech at an American Bar Association conference in San Francisco.

The Internet rumors were prompted by both the cancellation and the leak on Thursday of a videotape that showed Chertoff and other DHS staffs' seeming lack of response to the briefing in preparation for Hurricane Katrina. Democrats on Capitol Hill have been calling for Chertoff's resignation for months.

Chertoff has stood tall against the criticism, knowing perhaps that it would be difficult for President Bush to find another Republican willing to take over what many in Washington consider to be the most institutionally troubled agency in the country. This is not Chertoff's fault. If blame should be placed, say White House and other Administration insiders, it should be laid at the feet of former DHS Secretary Tom Ridge, who at no point in the run-up to the creation of the agency said "No" to the way the department was pulled together from various other Cabinet level departments.

"You're pulling agencies and staff from Justice, Treasury, HHS, Agriculture, and who knows from where else," says one former White House staffer who was involved in the planning. "We were warned that many of these different groups had never played well together when they weren't part of the same agency team. But no one at the top seemed to consider that. Now we see the results."

Chertoff was not the first or even the third choice of President Bush to be head of DHS, and many associates were surprised that he gave up a seat on the federal bench to take up a post that was fraught with infighting.

If Chertoff does decide to leave, it will not be because of Katrina, his associates say -- it will be because of the Dubai Port deal, and the failings of the Treasury Department and the White House to properly vet what should have been a DHS decision, pure and simple.

"Instead, this became a multi-agency scrum and things just fell through the cracks," says a current Administration source. "There is more to come out about this deal, and it may be best for Chertoff to get out while the getting is good."

TSA RUMOR MILL SPINNING AGAIN AND THE ROGUE JEW IS THE MAN ON THE SCENE!

Once again the Rogue Jew is on the job sneaking and peaking into the secret world of that government program that is suppose to safeguard Americans who fly the "friendly skies" of our commercial airlines...The Transportation Security Administration, particularly the puss nutted, shit for brains, pencil dicked morons that manage the in-security at the Gerald R. Ford International Airport in Grand Rapids, Michigan.

The big question on everybody's minds these days is if the TSA is about to de-federalize its screening force in Grand Rapids.

My anonomys eyes and ears of the GRR have informed me that last week, while yours truly was hanging and bangin in the Big Apple, those who manage the Screening Force at the Gerald R. Ford held a super duper top secret hush hush meeting with their mindless bunch of supervisors, of which if it wasn't for the TSA they would all probably be flipping burgers at a fast food joint, or selling elephant ears at as a carni in the traveling carnival coming to a county fair near you! Digress I must when it comes to these airheads.

Anyway, at this top secret orgy of incompetence, it is rumored that FSD and AFSD had their FATASS' (Federal Aviation Transportation Airline Screnner Stupidvisors) sign a paper pledging their devotion and solidarity that they would remain on with the Federal Government when the Screeners are de-federalized or as you will, PRIVATIZED.

The current scuttlebutt going round the rumor mill is that the suspected privatization of the Screening force will occur sometime before they are able to draw a retirement so as to save millions of federal tax dollars at the expense of the unsuspecting screener who have been cheated, duped, screwed, and lied too since the day they were hired.

I am quite sure that the TSA Federal Screeners would be offered positions with the new private companies, but I can tell you from experience of having worked for Argenbright Security before and shortly after 9/11 and before the Dept. of Homeland InSecurity took over airline security that their management and supervisors were just as incompetent as the current wad stains that play desk jockey doing absofreakinglutely not a damn thing day to day.

The sad part that remains is that the current orgy of assholes get to keep their federal positions, pensions and exuberant pay to do nothing while some damn good people will be forced to put up with the same crap for less pay and benefits.

Why all of the secrecy you ask? As long as I worked there, the management has always been secretive about everything. Making up rules as they go along, when ever it suited their insensitive needs, being abusive toward the Screeners, having sexual relations with the ones they supervise thus seeing to it she was paid well for her service above and BELOW the call of duty. Incidently this supervisor still has a job and she is on "leave". (I saw him when I flew out. Nice to see ya OJ)

If there is any truth at all to this rumor, then these Federal Screeners are sitting ducks, slaving every single day for a boss who is an ungrateful schmuck who is getting paid BIG DOLLARS and getting all the credit while the Screeners get squat! All the time spent at the airport busting your ass for a retirement that you won't even get!
