Cardinal Joseph Ratzinger from Germany is now Pope Benedict XVI, the new leader of the Roman Catholic Church. Ratzinger, who hails from Germany has quite the checkered past having been a member of the Hitler Youth, for which the Jewish Anti-Defemation League has forgiven him for, stating that the new Pope has spent his life attoning for what he did as a young man in a very violatile and turmulous time in history.
The American media on the other hand, upon hearing that the very conservative Ratzinger had been elected Pope, was already setting there sights on the guy.
MSNBC was perhaps the worst as they stood outside of St. Patricks Cathedral in New York interviewing ONLY people who did not agree with the selection of Ratzinger.
The new Pope was a close confidante of Pope John Paul II and is very adherent to the strict line that the Catholic Church has taken on Abortion and Homosexuality and this of course infuriates the liberal left.
They are already commenting on how they hope that Pope Benedict XVI does more to reach out to the more moderate arm of the church rather then take the strict line and "alienate" them.
I feel that the Cardinals of the Church have sent a message to the leftist liberal scumbags of America and the anti-G-d leaders of Europe who are in a sense "De-Christianizing" Europe. And that message I believe is "The Church WILL NOT bend toward secularization." I believe this to be a message also to the hipocritical members of the Church, Ted "hic" Kennedy and John F'n Kerry.
As a Jew, I believe that Pope Benedict XVI will continue with the close relationship that John Paul II started with the Jewish people. I also hope that he does not bend to preassure from the Anti G-d crowd like the socialist scumbags of the Democrat party and their army of laywers from the ACLU who are fighting for Our Right to do things THEIR way!
Well, thats all for now. The Rogue Jew will be gone for 6 days to New York city for the Jewish Holiday of Pesach (Passover) so that my wife and I may spend it with family and friends. I wish all of my Jewish readers a "Happy and Kosher Pesach" and to my gentile friends, I will see ya next week.
