Dale Earnhardt, Jr., on Chevy Volt: ‘The Technology Isn’t There Yet’

At the National Guard Youth Foundation’s ChalleNGe Champions gala on Tuesday, CNSNews.com asked Earnhardt, “One of the cars that’s been getting a lot of attention, as far as green is concerned, is the Chevy Volt, and Consumer Reports today said that it’s actually, in their mind, inefficient because it only gets 30 miles to a charge – and it’s a lot of money, it’s an expensive car. What do you think about the effort that car companies have made, with specifically the Chevy Volt?”

Obama Plays Race Card: “Race a Key Component in Tea Party Protests”
The Liberal Messiah, Chicago Jesus cannot simply comprehend that all of America is not falling at his feet, and if we’re not, it just cannot be because of his lack of leadership or his failed polices and destructive agenda, it must be because we are all a bunch of “Racists”. (Sarcasm Intended)
On March 12, 2010, President Obama welcomed me into the Oval Office for an interview for this book. Dressed in an elegant dark blue business suit and tie with an American flag pin in his left lapel, he was serene and confident. Behind him was the portrait of George Washington that has hung in the Oval Office for many years. Flanking that portrait were two busts added by Obama, reflecting his own values and heroes — behind him on his right was a likeness of Martin Luther King Jr., and on his left was one of Abraham Lincoln.
Obama was in a reflective mood. He began the interview by saying he had been “fully briefed” on my topic and was ready for me to “dive in.” He proceeded to methodically defend his effort to build a race-neutral administration. “Americans, since the victories of the civil rights movement, I think, have broadly come to accept the notion that everybody has to be treated equally; everybody has to be treated fairly,” the president told me. “And I think that the whole debate about how do you make up for past history creates a complicated wrinkle in that principle of equality.” . . .
But Obama, in his most candid moments, acknowledged that race was still a problem. In May 2010, he told guests at a private White House dinner that race was probably a key component in the rising opposition to his presidency from conservatives, especially right-wing activists in the anti-incumbent “Tea Party” movement that was then surging across the country. Many middle-class and working-class whites felt aggrieved and resentful that the federal government was helping other groups, including bankers, automakers, irresponsible people who had defaulted on their mortgages, and the poor, but wasn’t helping them nearly enough, he said.
A guest suggested that when Tea Party activists said they wanted to “take back” their country, their real motivation was to stir up anger and anxiety at having a black president, and Obama didn’t dispute the idea. He agreed that there was a “subterranean agenda” in the anti-Obama movement — a racially biased one — that was unfortunate. But he sadly conceded that there was little he could do about it.
He was elected because of the color of his skin, it certainly wasn’t the content of his character, it was pure and simple “White Guilt” that got him elected POTUS, that is the only thing that explain how this incompetent bumbling idiot with No Experience other then being a “Community Organizer” made it this far in the political world.
Obama fails to realize that a large number of Tea Party members voted for him in 2008, and based on his incompetence, his policies, and his destructive agenda…The people who once slurped the koolaid at the Fountain of “O” have changed their minds based on what they have in reality seen from Chicago Jesus and his entire administration. Now like all his defenders who cannot defend his policies or agenda, The Chosen One has now found himself having to rely on the same defense…RACE and even that is growing old and stale amongst the electorate that helped lead him into the Oval Office in 2008.

You need to watch only a few minutes of cable news analysis to realize just how ludicrous our national energy policies have become. As escalating tensions and chaos unfold in Egypt, Libya and other Middle Eastern nations, one energy analyst suggested that if Libyan oil supplies were to fail, the United States would rely on Saudi Arabia for its oil needs. If that statement alone doesn’t put U.S. leaders on red alert, the looming national energy crisis may soon become reality.
The Obama administration is repeating the mistakes of President Jimmy Carter’s failed energy policies, which marred his term and stigmatized the 1970s. They are leading us straight into another national energy disaster.
Key members of the Obama administration believe this friction abroad underscores the need to move away from oil and gas entirely and shift to boutique forms of alternative energy. Their lack of political will to drill for oil and gas compromises our national security and jeopardizes economic recovery.
It skirts the colossal elephant in the room: Oil and natural gas produced here in the United States are likely to still account for at least 57 percent of domestic energy consumption by 2035. Not to mention that energy production here can relieve the U.S. from the dangerous grip of foreign petro dictators.
Unfortunately, this administration’s Department of the Interior, with the most anti-oil-and-gas record in U.S. history, is sabotaging any real chance of avoiding the pending energy crisis because of its continued hold on deepwater drilling permits in the Gulf of Mexico.
Couple of questions:
1) If we had followed Sarah Palin's advice to "Drill, baby, drill" back in 2008, do you suppose some of those wells would be coming on line now to replace the oil lost to this disruption in the middle east?
2) If Obama had not illegally defied a federal judge's order to resume drilling in the Gulf, do you suppose there would be a little more oil around to alleviate this huge rise in gas prices?
3) Do you suppose that the radical left's prevention of any new refining facilities in the U.S. in the last thirty or forty years might have something to do with the rise in gas prices now?
4) Where is all this wind power that was supposed to be coming on line after years spending billions of taxpayer dollars in subsidies to develop it? And don't tell me there's a shortage of wind with all the hot air coming out of Washington these days.
5) Back when Bush was president, every two or three cent rise in gas prices was front page news. Now it goes up fifteen cents in one day and the press doesn't even notice.
6) Back when Bush was president and gas prices went up over $3 a gallon, there were all kinds of calls in Congress and the press for investigations to find who was responsible. But now, no one is calling for any investigations.
7) Now that we have Obama on record as shutting down drilling in the Gulf, the green ******s are on record calling for no additional drilling anywhere, and Al Gore is on record calling for $7 a gallon gas, who does the left blame for the rapid rise in gas prices choking off the little economic recovery we were expecting to see?
You know what we need now? A good left-wing conspiracy theory about how the oil companies are driving up the cost of gas. We can put that one right next to the leftist consipiracy theory, which is believed by 40% of Democrats, that George Bush helped plan the attack on the twin towers. And right next to the one about global warming as I sit here freezing my behind in the middle of a cold snap. You just gotta laugh at some of this stuff.

Obama Reincarnates Jimmy Carter's Legacy of Fail
Well it certainly looks like President Obama has channeled his inner Jimmy Carter instead of Ronald Reagan on this one and by stepping away from Egyptian President Mubarack and once again took the wrong side of history and sided with the Muslim Brotherhood and the Islamist Militants.

Instead, the "Burlesque" singer merged the lyrics with the song's second line, which she had just sang ("What so proudly we hailed at the twilight's last gleaming?"), belting out: "What so proudly we watched at the twilight's last gleaming?"I have a problem with how she sung it! WTF? She just did too much with her strained vocals. I was like, JUST SING THE DAMN SONG ALREADY! That was pretty disrespectful. I mean, it';s one thing to put a little bit of yourself into the song when singing it, but to damn near recreate the whole melody is unacceptable!
Additionally, Aguilera's voice strained to hit the final note of the song, penned by Francis Scott Key.

Used Car Salesman In Chief
Reuters: U.S. President Barack Obama took time out from a NATO summit in Lisbon on Saturday to tout a new hybrid electric car which General Motors plans to roll out in Europe next year.Obama found himself acting as salesman-in-chief for GM Opel’s Ampera model just days after he declared in Washington that U.S. taxpayers would get their money back for saving GM in a bailout that was broadly unpopular.*
Calling the Ampera an “example of GM technology”, Obama said: “This is the future.”
“This is a car made in America,” he said after inspecting an Ampera at the convention centre where he was wrapping up a two-day NATO summit. “We’re going to start selling it in Europe.”
GM last week was refloated as a public company amid heavy investor demand, and the White House sought to take credit for what it saw as a successful turnaround.
Public anger over the bailout, along with rescue packages for Wall Street banks, contributed to heavy losses for Obama’s Democrats in the Nov. 2 congressional election.*
But the stock sale capped GM’s recovery from near-collapse, thanks to a $50 billion government rescue.*

After proving his prowess as a total failure in Asia, Obama is off again on his way out of the country to Fail yet again in Europe.
